UHS Foundation Supports Pediatric Care Thanks to a Special Estate Gift

In 1981, Lillian Schultz Brown established an estate gift to support pediatric care at Binghamton General Hospital. Lillian’s legacy continues today. The Binghamton Pediatric Office, located at Binghamton General Hospital, is getting its first significant renovation in many years. In addition to modernizing the office, the renovation will install security features and an ADA-accessible bathroom.

When the first phase came in over budget, the UHS Foundation was able to step in and help. All thanks to Lillian. To Ms. Brown, the well-being and happiness of children served at Binghamton General was a priority. Thirty-eight years later, her generosity is still illuminating smiles while supporting a new generation of Binghamton children.
